Welcome past, present or future Domitorians!

Whether you are a seasoned film historian, a traveling projectionist, or a fledgling cinephile, if you have been bitten by the early cinema bug then you have come to the right place.

By supporting Domitor and signing up as a member you will become part of an international society of like-minded individuals who love the smell of nitrate in the morning. You will be added to our extensive mailing list, will be able to interact with peers on our website, and will gain access to exclusive early cinema content.

We are a federally registered non-profit, so with your support, we are able to organize our biannual conference and maintain our website. Should you have any questions or experience any issues while signing up, please contact our treasurer, Dimitrios Latsis, at domitorinc@gmail.com.

Institutional Membership

Your institution can become a member for $125 per year ($250 total for a 2-year term) in keeping with annual budgets, given that our activities follow a two-year period. During this two-year period, your institution will receive: one free copy of the Domitor Conference Proceedings, free registration for one delegate to our Conference, one vote at the General Assembly and on election ballots, access to our members-only website pages and discussion groups, promotion of your institution and, if interested, your collections related to early cinema on the Domitor website. The Institutional Membership is also a unique way to discuss and set up partnership projects between your institution and Domitor, such as early cinema material digitization. NB: An additional way to get involved with Domitor is with a CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP ($400), which includes a 1/2 page of ad space in the Conference Program and 1 free Conference registration (if your Institution is already a member, you will thus get 2 free registrations). CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIP does not require Institutional Membership.
